So . . . We begin.
My motivation comes from a desire to be out in the world that my students find themselves immersed in. I realized that if I wanted to ask my students to do all these things then I best be prepared to do them myself.
Also! Communication!!! The sheer volume of people out in this world of the web is astounding. How better than to join the fray?
Here I shall (probably) record my trials and tribulations as a teacher who loves all things of the past and finding ways to make it mesh with the technology of the present. This is my goal.
Along the way I shall complain (probably a lot) but I will also share my stories and the lessons I learn and the apps I find and the technology that fails me.
